    Hi, Im new to these forums so if Im breaking any rules, srry.

    Im having the same problem with my pc for awhile. Each time I try to install something, i click on the installer and it says ''Could not initialize installation. DLLs corrupt or missing.''

    If anyone could help me itd be really appreciated, thanks.

    Hi

    Could you give us some background info like.....

    What OS ( windows version ) are you using?

    Are you fully upto date with all Service packs and updates?

    What software are you trying to install?

    On the error message what is the DLL its naming?

    IM running on Windows XP pro, but its not a legal version. And it does it on a lot of software that i download then try to install.

    Sorry Max - the fact that you are running an illegal version of XP is probably the heart of the problem. Why not get a legal version either thru ebay or an academic version or students. Then you will be in businness.

    As mentioned above, using an illegal version of XP pretty much disqualifies you from help here. OEM versions are pretty affordable these days, too.
