everytime i check the chkdsk command it keeps saying "windows found problems with the file system".so after talking to the tech support of the company who i bought my computer from they told me to reformat, which i did andd as soon as i reformated and checked that CHKDSK command it again said the same thing . so i dnno wat it could be, they said it could be my harddrive , i ran HD tune and some Seatools to check it and it came back clean ... so any1 have any ideas wat that could mean. ? ( also when i run internet explorer it keeps crashing , it says it encountered an error and needs to shut down , 1 time it gave me this error 0x7c936d79 and 0xea5767735 )

were you running chkdsk only? or with the /r /p, etc? It also checks for file consistancies as well, not just the hardware. you should probably run the longer scans from seatools also.

actually before i reformated i did run that scan and after it was finished and booted into windows my windows froze up. i looked and my anti virus got completly turned of and other things like my firewall were turned of. so i had to shut down thru pressing the button on the front of my comp , then when it booted back it took literally around 6-10 min to open a program. i tried to open control pannel and it took 10mi then it finally opened.

uggh...ok, do you have your windows cd? if so, boot from it, and select the repair option to get into the recovery console, then run the command from there.
