DNS Hijacker ~ 89.248.168 ~ Can't Search

Whenever I try to use Google to search I either get: Apache/2.2.11 (FreeBSD) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e DAV/2 PHP/5.2.9 with Suhosin-Patch Server at www.google.com Port 80 OR I get notification that I'm not connected to the Internet, which is not true, because I can goto other sites. I've downloaded Webroot and it Quarantined some items and of course AVG found nothing. This is KILLING ME at work because I can't work if I can't search!! :cry:cry:cry

Almost forgot....if I DO get to Google and can do a search, when I click on the link, it takes me to somewhere NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I wanted. As of today www.........hotamusement.com took over, I didn't see what it was, because I'm at work, but I'm sure it had nothing to do with a 2001 Ford Axel.

Hello and welcome to Major Geeks.

You'll need to head over to the Malware Forum and perform all steps of the Read and Run Me First Malware Removal Guide from start to finish.

Once you have completed the Malware Removal Guide, if you are still having problems or signs of infection, start a New Thread in the Malware Forum and post your logs as requested in the instructions. The experts in there are the best. They are very busy though, so if you do decide to post your logs, you should expect to wait 3-4 days. Just don't post again in your thread as they take oldest threads first.
