Do I Need To Install Motherboard Drivers ?

Setup and install went fine. I currently have SP2 downloading and installing in the background. My mobo manual states that drivers should be installed after the SP2 update. There is an option to install the Nvidia chipset drivers. However, the preface states

"The drivers menu shows the available device drivers if the system detects installed devices. Install he necessary drivers to activate the devices."

What exactly does that mean? Install if XP prompts me? I am perplexed. So far things are running fine. I remember years ago installing mobo drivers and I think it borked the whole XP install and I had to start over. I think I skipped installing mobo drivers last build.

So, what is the skinny? Do I need to install them?

Okay goto control pannel / system / hardware/ device manager / do you see a
exclamations point a yellow thing somewhere...

If NOT then you are okay if YES then install the chipset right now.....
