Do RAM managers really work?

i was talking to flea today, and he told me he had like 3 RAM managers. Do they really work? and if so, which one is the best?

 

Hey Dan, I use CacheManXP lots of features, easy to use interface, lets you select which proggie you want to knock the ram usage down on, or just reduce ram usage across the board. You can kill processess with it. Do lots of stuff. I've used it for as year or more and dumped my other manager about a month after I tried Cacheman. I recommend it highly.
