Ahhh, we can hold on to IE6, but we'll start finding more and more sites using IE7-only activex controls, and MS will force our hands. Unless the W3C kicks their butts.

I'm already convinced IE7 is the way to go anyway. (When compared to IE6) I'm not going to mind switching...

You can wait to install IE 7, you don't HAVE to get that update even with auto update on, as I understood it

I've been putting money aside for a new computer with Vista, so I'm not afraid.

 

Thats why I keep Automatic Update disabled and only re-enable it to check for updates, then I disable it-all hassle free

 

Agree with Mada, whats wrong with IE7?.... it kicks 6 for 6
