doc to pdf converter

Hello,

I want to find a program that allows me to convert my word documents into pdf that can be opened by any pdf viewer (e.g., Adobe Acrobat reader). Ideally, the program won't leave any notices saying, "created with..." at the bottom of the file or any other stuff. It would be much appreciated if you guys can recommend me any programs. Thanks.

 

I understand that OpenOffice can read Word documents and save as pdf.

I'm using Microsoft Word 2007, so that I can save the doc to PDF directly. primopdf is good for those who is using the former office version.
It seems harder to convert PDF to Word.

 

I have Office 2007 as well, but I don't seem to be able to save into PDF format. I go to the Save As box and the 'save as type' mostly shows Word document, Webpage, Rich text format, Word XML document, etc. However, no pdf . Any way to add it in???

 

Never mind... I d/led the add in from the Microsoft website.

 

Right, just download and install the add-in, then you can see the PDF format in the save as list.
