    click start a screen comes up there is a file or folder ( i dont know the proper term ) called " my recent documents " that has all files you have looked at or opened listed there is there a way to clear this or delete it or something like that ? o/s is winxp

    Click START, then at the top of the menu where it has your name, right click and select properties.
    Select the <startmenu> tab Then click Customize. Then click the <advanced> tab, and there you can clear or not list your recent documents altogether.
