DoD Prob

Error
failed to lock certex buffer in CmeshDX8::LockVertexBuffer

i googled this one and found that there are logs for this prob going back to 04. i tried some of the fixes and none worked. Ie download new drivers, putting -dxlevel 90 in launch options, gettin up to date directx(anyone know where you can get directx 10 FOR FREE)

nothing worked. im hoping the major geek geeks can fix this one for me

this is for the platform steam. game day of defeat(really fun if your wondering)

running xp pro
dell demension 4600
stealth radeon 9800 graphics card (there are no new drivers)
2 gb ram
3.06 ghz

if you cant fix it, it would make my wife veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry happy

 

Hey never mind, it got fixed. i may have to go out and buy and new graphics card some day but its resolved for now
