Dodgy webpage?

When I visit my football team's website, the pictures of the team and players etc do not appear. All that shows is a blank space. I have tried viewing it on IE and mozilla firefox. This is just something on my PC as it works fine on my friends computers. They used to work a while ago but i don't recall of doing anything wrong. The attachment is a screen shot of the homepage. The white spaces down the left of each article should have a picture.

Another thing to try is to disable your firewall temporarily while you access the site and see if it works then.

Sometimes various internet security programs can cause problems with web pages, try disabling these temporarily also.

I noticed on your ie toolbar something saying 2385 blocked. What is that?

 

Ok, first off. it's not a red cross problem. it's a firewall problem. I have zonealarm and when shut off the pictures appear. however, how do i know what is blocking them when it is on? anyone have any ideas who are familiar with zonealarm?

still no luck.

any idea what cgi extensions are? on ebay, i have loads of the wee red crosses and the file extentions of those images are cgi. i gather windows doesnt support this? even though i've had it displayed before.

 

cgi = Common Gateway Interface

Internet Explorer and any web browser that is W3C compliant supports CGI scripts. It is most likely that your Firewall or AV program is blocking CGI scripts.

 

anyone have an idea how to enable cgi in zone alarm? i cant find anything
