Does 6800GS has VIVO ?

I wanna get the 6800GS card but Ive got some questions ..
In some sites it says it has no VIVO ..
and on some other it says it has Video In / Video Out ...
and some says it has a HDTV Cable with video in ability or something like that ...


can you help me ? if u happen to have this card ..
I need some1 to shed some light into this subject

As far as my limited knowledge about VIVO........

It all depends on who you buy from.

Just make sure on what brand you buy from, has VIVO. if you are unsure, then do a search on reviews on the card you wish to purchase.

 

I did .. and that is what Ive found ..

from what I understand the gigabyte 6800GS is abit older so it doesnt have vivo feature ..

but the other 2 .. E-VGA and GilFORSA .. got it ..
Im still not sure ..

To ask 6800GS isnt enough INFO, what Brand & model, provide Link.
These 6800GS are configured many ways, some have VIVO some Dont.

The first two links you provided both of those exact model do have VIVO.

Any Video card at Newegg if it has VIVO, it will be noted in the specs, this will also be true with most any retailer, And when in doubt call the retailer.

 

As the others have said, it depends on the cards manufacturer.

It's not defined by the chip necessarily.

 

So .. it is possible that some 6800GS will have VIVO feature right ?

like the GilFORSA and the eVGA ..

cause on another forum they told me that it was an error in the article and that 6800GS doesnt have VIVO ..

and I wonder .. why they make those cards without vivo !?!?
even my older card .. GF4 Ti 4200 had a vivo feature ..

 

Many current cards, even high end, do not have VIVO.

 

eVGA do a 6800GS that has VIVO.

So do XFX, along with other manufacturers.

 

ok .. good to know that ..
next week I will go to the store .. and ask there about it .. both the evga and the gil-forsa .. if they do have vivo ..
I will probably pick the evga one ..

I hope they are both retail and not bulk ..

 

You'll need to know if you have AGP or PCI Xpress.
