Does anybody know about color profiles?

    I want to use the best color profiles. My scanner scan my pictures and it comes close to the actual colors, but not perfect. I'm looking for profiles to use for my all in one HP psc 1210v, and my Dell 1707FP monitor. Currently, I have the 1707FP profile for my monitor, and Kodac_dc for my printer, which I have not tested. The reds don't match quite right.
