    Hey BFK

You really dont know how hard I'm biting my paws to not type a witty reply to this as in "can dogs type" or "Woof woooof woofff" but I know your question is serious, so will go back to my kennel now.

I think the large well known one is http://www.dogsey.com/dog-forums.php or http://www.petforums.co.uk/

Not may area of expertise, so hope they help :)

We had a family dog, while growing up. Not now, we have cats, there are four of them in our apt. My cat while walking across the desk, will walk on the computer keyboard, while looking at me. I always tell her don't walk on the computer, yes she walks on the computer too. Had to disable the on/off switch, as she was always turning the computer off.....she's a cat, does what she wants, always.......wobbles

I don't have dogs, I have cats, and there's a lot of blogs about cats out there. If you can find a good dog blog, they can probably direct you to dog forums... sorry, I don't have links, but hopefully that's a bit of a starting point. :)

Thanks. Finding a good site has been "ruff" to say the least. :-D

It seems that the best sites are across the pond from the good ole USA, which is where I'm at.

How's it going BFK? Being a Animal lover period I have no real preference but have owned just as many dogs as I have cats and other creatures(including reptiles and insects) I have now a dog,Arnold Schwarzenegger, (we call him Arnold or "MR" for short). I go Here and help to contribute in the donations given to Dogs & Cats that was started by a 12 year old girl. Have been doing this for more then 6mos. They have a forum that is affiliated to them which is TailsInc the place I go to help/donate is called FreeKibble. They also have it for Cats too. I am not yet a member but do read some of the post there.(have a lot on the stove now and any more may just cause a fire.LOL). I plan on joining as soon as get some more free time. Hope you like it.

I still have family there, so when I visit, I try to sneak in a sandwich.
Will be visiting around the holidays, so a cheese steak is on the radar. :drool

I've tried Pat's and Geno's, but my favorite is Phillip's. Just as good and you don't have to go all the way into the city to get to them. Been going to Phillip's for over 20 years. Just down the street from the Automall. :yum

Yeah, I know. I live near the city of Perth and the shire of Stirling, yet we are a tad away from Scotland. And yup, I'm Scottish ancestry as well. Town Planners are not known for their imagination.

Just like there's a Meridian Street and a Main Street in nearly every state and city in the US.

    Halo:
Quite a few towns near where I live have UK names to them.
I live in Nottingham, the next town over is Oxford.
Then there is Little Britain, New London, London Grove and probably a few others that I can't think of at the moment.

"But how the hell pets gets to Cheese Steak I'll never know but"

Yes, we got sidetracked. But have you ever had a real Philly cheesesteak? Probably my favorite food. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Wow, its great to know, small world and all that, cheers for the info, I love this stuff in knowing that town and city names are used the world over, Rule Britannia and all that ;)

Actually no I have not and dont know anywhere close that would serve such an item, maybe I need to wizz myself over to Philly.

Whats the recipe? and do you think I could recreate one personally?

This is right off of Geno's website:
The ingredients are simple, exacting and never greasy thinly sliced rib-eye steak, melted cheese, oven-fresh baked bread and delicately grilled onions.

The key is the meat. You want thinly sliced rib eye and you don't chop it, like the imitators do.
You simply take a bite, but shouldn't have to do much chewing.
A real Philly cheesesteak will literally melt in your mouth.

I'm about 1 hour away and am actually tempted to hop in the car right now.
I would do so if I wasn't home bound due to illness.
