Does bestbuy hold items

    Does anyone know if i can put money down on a sale item and have bestbuy hold it for like 1 week or less?

    Don't they do the online sale for pickup in the store of your choice?

    I would think they would have to hold it until you get there to pick it up. When I just did it for Circuit City, I bought it online and went in that day. It was sitting on a shelf with all the other online purchases.

    A week isn't very long so I'm sure it wouldn't be a prob.

    yeah, I just dont want the item to go off sale rather until i can offord it

    You better be happy your CC was not one that was closing. Customers of Tweeter (Stereo store in Boston area) were left with no merchandise and no refunds. The merchandise became property of the liquidation company and the money became unsecured debt of the bankruptcy!

    I do not mean to say BestBuy is headed for bankruptcy, but Buyer Beware!!

    Wow...good too know!

    That was the first time I did the buy online and pick up in the store thing. I'll never do it again solely based on the ridiculous wait in line.
