does halo 3 support cross platform?

    been googling to find out if halo 3 will support cross platforming (i.e. xbox 360 vs pc) and can't find out if it will support console versus pc either on a lan network or through live. does anyone know off the top of their head if you can do this with halo 3? I've been having this debate with a buddy that the PC has a HUGE advantage in FPS over console. he doesn't believe me so i want to show him the advantage by running circles around him in a console versus pc war. :D

    Well if Halo2 is anything to go by then yes cross-platform playing on Live will pit PC and xbox306 players against each other, but AFAIK the PC version is not in development so a bit of a mute debate for now.
