If your Internet Speed is 10Mb/sec. 802.11n Wireless would slow dwon you Interent.

    At best 802.11b yields 6-8Mb/sec.

My router settings give me the option of 10/mb or 100/mb or auto. And full or half

Thats your wired connection, your wireless is either 11 or 54 meg, 54 being wireless g, 11 meg being wireless b.

I assume you meant to say 802.11b. 802.11n is not going to botleneck a 10Mbps connection.

So, if I am connected at 11 MB/s, I can expect about 6-8? Charter told me I would notice the difference most on gaming sites. Is there a gaming site where I can test the speed? Without paying of course.
