does ripping a dvd strait to an mp4 320x240 file make it skip

i am ripping my back to the future trilogy dvd videos onto my computer as mp4 files and the disks have no scratches (i have double checked that) and whenever i ripped the second part (not important information i know) but when i got to the last part it skips a scene (in this case a chapter) and continues onto the chapter after the one it skips is there anything i am doing wrong here it's part 2 to be precise and will the length of the movie matter

i am using isofter dvd ripper platinum and am ripping as mp4 files with 320x240 screen resolution and it skips even though there isn't a scratch

whats the solution to this all help is gladly appreciated

 

The problem is that Isofter is not reading the protection on the disc properly. Go to their website and get the latest build of the software and try it again. If it still doesn't work, you can contact Isofter and wait for them to fix their SW, or use another tool, like ANYDVD, to rip the disk to your HDD (and will remove the protection along the way), then just use the Isofter SW to convert the ripped disk to an MP4.
