Does The Hp Spectre Notebook (13.3 Inch, 2016 Model) Have A Removable Wireless Lan Card?

I have an HP Spectre Notebook (2016), and I am trying to connect an eGPU to it. I have all the components ready to do so, but I wanted to know if the Wireless LAN card is removable, or soldered. I can't find any information about the device anywhere else, as it isn't a widely used device.

Nevermind, the first link is incorrect. Only look at the second one.

 

My "guess" would be "no". And the reason why is because it is (or was) marketed as the world's "thinnest" laptop. And typically, one way to make laptops thinner and thinner is by surface mounting the components - that is, soldering them directly to the main board instead of using a socket. This is because sockets takes up more space (and add weight, and cost).

Having said that, if you are looking to improve the wifi performance of the laptop, that laptop has 3 USB Type-C (now just USB-C) ports. You should be able to use a USB wifi adapter through there (though you may need to use a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter in between.
