I have a folder to store my digital camera pics and they are anywhere from 2048x1536 650oddkb photos to 2576x1932 1.7mb odd photos.

Anyway I use winwall to randomly change my wallpaper and just add my digital photos folder to it so it randomly picks from there.

Does the size affect the PC performance and is it any benefit to resizing a copy of all my photos in a new folder to 1024x768 and using them to match the screen resolution and bring the size down?

Or is it that negligable that it isnt worth my trouble?

p.s. has anyone else used winwall? If so do you have trouble shutting down your PC becuase it always tries to end the program?

How much ram do ye have? The pic will be stored in memory, while the background is displayed. If you have a lot of ram, no. If you have less the 512, it may.
