I'm looking for a video game that will teach me how to drive. I have a Logitech steering wheel with pedals, and i'm looking for a lifelike driving game. Does one exist?

I am sure it does, but if you cant find one, you can always hop into cabs on Long Island and you will sure get a driving lesson from them!! :-D:-D

The ones I could suggest are mostly racing games, which I don't believe is your intended purpose.
    (Is it???)

Take one of your parent's cars onto some private land and learn that way.

Honestly Dawg I'll tell you the same thing I told my boy.
There are lots of little tests/games etc to teach you the rules of the road, as for the actual handling of the car... Gran Turismo (preferably 4 or above), I know it's a racing game but the physics are acurate and it will show you what happens when you over/under steer and it teaches you when to brake/accelerate on corners.... plus it has a large number of "Normal" road cars.
There is no virtual substitue for the real thing but GT will give you a good idea of how cars act on the road.

    Classic Video that Fred :)

@Zdawg, video games do not simulate real driving, unless you have access to the ones racing teams have, but general video games just dont have the physics yet or more importantly have the AI to compute what other drivers or pedestrians will do, real world training is best.

You want to simulate real driving, find yourself a demolition derby sim. It's pretty much like that, but worse.
