My little cousin had this pci sata card laying around:

I popped it in one of my old computers to use it since he doesn't want it. The pc is old P3 days, IDE motherboard, 1GB ram, and Atx psu [Still useful though].

Does anyone know if this card would support a sata dvdrw drive if I plugged it into the secondary internal sata port on the card?

Or would using a dvdrw via a sata pci card be a no, no for burning Dvd's?

    Thanks

I can only guess. A controller is a controller so I fail to see why not.
