Does Windows Live Mail have data cap like OE?

I have a question about Windows Live Mail versus Outlook Express.

I know OE has basically a cap on the amount of data that can be stored in the inbox. It's recommended to keep the inbox cleaned out and compacted.

We have a couple of people in our office that refuse to keep their inbox compacted and cleaned out in OE. When that happens, they are losing every message in their entire inbox. I was wondering if Windows Live Mail operates the same way? If not, I may convert them to WLM because I'm tired of them not listening to me and then coming to me once a year saying they can't get anything in their inbox or they've lost all of it.

You can send up to 200 attachments up to 50 MB each (9.8 GB total) per email.

Outlook Express saved their message as .dbx files and did have a storage cap. Windows Live Mail saves mails as .eml files and as far as I've read, there is no limit. Not saying it never will, but I've never had WLM ask me to compact files due to reaching or nearing a storage limit.

I get the impression you need to review your approach to both personnel management and computer management. On the technical side, I would want back up those email files, the .dbx files OE uses to store messages, on some external medium on a frequent basis. Indeed, I would do the same regardless of what email client were being used.
