Hi all. Not too sure if this would be software related.

I bought an new Acer laptop about 1 and 1/2 years ago and since the COA is on the bottom, the numbers are completely worn off. :cry

I'm not having any problems with the machine and did create back-up discs right after I bought it. :)

    The question is:
If this system should happen to crash, am I up a creek, or can I retrieve these numbers from MS? :confused
    TIA!
    P.S.
I did register the machine, but the serial number is worn off also. :banghead
