ok i want to 'register' a domain name, but i dont want domain hosting. im running a web server, so all i want to do is associate my IP with a domain...

i dont necessarily want anything else
i dont need FTP access to a web space
i dont need 10 email addresses @ my domain (although that WOULD be nice...)
i dont need anything except to own the domain (or rent/lease it) and have it listed in DNS servers along side my IP

the only other thing i would need is the ability to change the listed IP if i needed to since i....ahem........ donthaveastaticip

i have a broadband connection so its not like it ever changes ever anyway, its almost static the way it is, but i guess it COULD change any day, if the ISP does an upgrade or something, so i should have the ability to change it.

    much thanks for any advice!
