dont want my pc to be a car it crashes too often

hia major geeks.

as you may know i have bult myself a new computer. it is all working fine but when i want to stream or wach a video off the internet, or use my webcam on msn. my pc totally freezes. this didnt use to happen before i reinstalled xp so i know it is not a thing that cannot be fixed. can you please help me. thanks ukarmycadet

also when i reboot my pc my usb mouse dosent work so i have to unplug and plug it back in to get it workin. can i have help to fix that too. thanks again...
