well I just downloaded and installed all the latest updates for Windows98. Since that time I have been getting numerous error messages and blue screens of death. I'm just curious if anyone knows of a good registry tweaker/scanner that might be of help to me??¿¿

are these random or do you notice them when running certain applications?

Don't the patches make entries in Add-Remove Programs? (Sorry, I've forgotten.) You might try taking them out one-by-one.
Since iexplore is making the problem arise, can you go back and update IE or patch IE?
If not, I think I recall that in 98, if you use the IE entry in Add-Remove Programs, it just gives you a Repair option, because it won't REMOVE IE, of course. Try that until somebody who is more recently up on 98 comes along today.
