Doom 64

    So when I was younger (around the age of 6) I owned a Nintendo 64. Among the man games I had for it I owned Doom 64. Now I haven't played that game since I was 10 and now I miss it. The thing is though I gave my N64 to my less fortunate cousins as well as the 30 or so games I owned for it. Now I am 15 and want to play it again.

    My problem is that I now live in Taiwan and they live in Texas. I am going their in a few weeks but I don't want to seem rude by asking for it back, but they never use the N64 and it just sits gathering dust. I honestly doubt it works anymore but I guess nothing I can do about that now. :cry

    Now on to the main point. Is there any way that I can LEGALLY and FREELY download Doom 64 for my laptop to play without a Nintendo 64 emulator. I have no clue what a N64 emulator is (borderline retarded when it comes to computers) but I have looked them up and they seem to either cost money, be illegal, or be overtly complicated and shady looking.

    So can any of you fine people help me out here by showing me where to download Doom 64 freely and legally. If I MUST get a Nintendo 64 emulator I shall, but only if you provide me a link (it's a trust issue.) Also since I'm only 15 I don't have a pay pal account or a credit card so it has to be free. :/

    I'm so sorry that i always ask for so much by the way.

    Hi

    The Emulator + ROM question is a tricky one but all is answered in this thread post HERE (its a sticky in the games forum).

    Never worry about asking, if you dont know the answer then best to ask.


    You could ask your cousins in a round about way do they still play with the N64 if not, ask them if they would part with it as you want to play some nostalgic gaming of Doom64, all they can say is NO, but odds are as you say they dont use it now, they shouldnt mind parting with it as you did originally give it freely to them.
