Doom won't play on Win7

My friend is running Windows 7 and wants to play Doom from this URL: http://www.dosgamesarchive.com/file/doom/ (NOTE: i haven't tried it yet) but it won't work in fullscreen. And Doom only operates in fullscreen. i recommended using dosbox, but, again, i haven't tested this. Any other recommendations?

Don't use Dos Files because it will damage your laptop or desktop. If you run Dos Files as the Administrater then it won't.

 

My laptop has Windows 7 XP (Service Pack 2) on it but it won't play the demo of Doom 3, i need help to run ths file somebody please help me!

 

You either have Windows 7 or Windows XP. They're two different things. Which one is it?

 

I'm pretty sure I ran Doom 3 a while back on my Win 7 without any issues, dunno, will have to test it at some point.
