I have an old Dell Optiplex 745 with Windows XP OS. I have downloaded the program and I am having a problem trying to copy it to my C: drive. I opened My Computer, opened Windows C:, opened Program Files and copied -paste Dosbox O.74 shortcut from desktop that was installed. It's installed on my desktop but now I have to copy it to my C: drive.

I went to the Dos Command prompt C:\Documents and Settings\New> and typed
    C:\Program-Files\DosBox-0.74\DosBox.exe
The system cannot find the path specified.

The path I typed was taken from the DosBox 0.74 Properties.

Is there another path I should take to get the program onto my C: Dive?

It should be "C:\Program Files\DosBox-0.74\DosBox.exe" Use quotes since there is a space in Program Files.

Thanks a lot foogoo. That did the trick. I'm not familiar with dos and didn't know you can use a space with quotes.
Now that I have DosBox prompt Z:\> I have to mount the directory. Their example is:
    MOUNT c d:\dosprogs

c:\dosprogs is not my directory. I checked the dir in dos and there is no DosBox directory there. What can I enter at the Z:\ prompt.
