DOS Partitioning-need Wizards advice

Have a machine with 2 HD's (one primary & one slave).
Primary 2GB HD bit the dust/no warning!!
Have a new replacement HD for primary.
PROBLEM/QUESTION:
How do I partition the new primary drive to match the old drive's partition(s). Reason I want to do this is so I can use my Norton Ghost 'Image' backup to restore the files to my new primary drive. Will Ghost partition the new HD for me??? If not, any advice on what I can try to match the old partition exactly. I remember that the old primary HD's partitions looked something like this:
1 DOS (very small partition)
2 C (approx. 150MB)
3 D (approx. 400MB)
I don't know how the old drive was originally partitioned (ie. 'Fdisk' or other program)

ghost will copy the drive's image to the new drive ..this includes partition information. but it will not set a new partition for the remaining space.

Not sure what "it wont set new partion for remaining space" means, in practical terms.(I'm new to ins/out of partitioning). Could you give a brief roadmap/step by step?

sure..
if you have a ghost image of a complete 2G drive.. and you ghost it to, say, a 10 G drive.. then it will copy the info over but the partion info will stop at the 2G mark, leaving 8G of empty, unformatted space.
