double page thing

Unable to connect

there is usually a marker here like www http random sites ie rag a muffin or something odd like that

i get this on loads of pages anyone got an idea of whats going on
iwas on a link from this site but it happens all the time

 

the page i am after comes up ok but there is a note that says cannot open page on the left hand side.(usually) it is more or a worry than anything

on my hotmail home page its got the usuall stuff then a box on the right says

! thats in a yellow triange
firefox cannot establish a connection to the server at ff.connextra.com

i googled it and got the same cannot conect message
