G'day y'all, some of you, when reading my posting, may get the idea that I have no 'king idea what I am talking about...no prizes for that.
About 5 years or so ago I got my own domain through Zuver, I promptly grabbed a free website builder named Web Site Maker and away I went, like a rat up a drainpipe....my missus and I are retired and we spend most of our time travelling around in our caravan, fair dinkum grey nomads, well up until someone brung covid to our shores, so much for being 'girt by sea'. Anyhow, pretty soon we had zillions of photos and trip travels posted.
Anyone from outside of Australia may have trouble understanding me, who cares?.
Now Zuver have dragged the carpet out from under, sold out to some other mob who have changed things, they tell me that as Web Page Maker was old technology and fell by the wayside some years ago I can no longer edit our fabulous website, I can change nothing.
I know nuffin about the Internets and stuff but I would hate to see our trip photos go the way of GMH. I still have my domain and I would like to know how I can transfer our website to a new location, the new Zuver people tell me no can do.
OK...well I have it all backed up on a box full of Commodore 64 cassettes (Kidding, it's all floppies) the 9 year old kid next door showed me how to do that.
One of you dudes has gotta guide me along...I promise to reward you.

You cannot transfer the website as such only create a new website on another web provider & upload the website again.
    This suggests it’s possible:
https://www.websitebuilderexpert.co...website. 9 Update your DNS settings. See More.

You should still be able to use Web Page Maker - heck, I still use Microsoft’s ancient webpage maker.
Many website suppliers have online upload facility. If the site offers this then you can edit the site then upload the page via this.
Is there any error message when you try uploading/changing a webpage?

Hi Virginia, thank you for your quick reply.
    When I try to publish an edited page on my website I get this error message;

    upload_2021-8-15_19-28-13.png
I contacted Zuver and was given instructions for TLS security mechanisms changes (What ever they are!) which I did but had the same result, they then told me that Web Page Maker is 'old school' and they could help me no further...my website is an amateurish thing but it has served me well...I should point out that the 'Dummies Guide to...' books were written with me in mind. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer. Promise not to laugh and you can view it here: www.paulgreig.com

Is there any settings within the program to change server settings to use TLS?
Is your password simple or strong?

Hi again Virginia....I have had a look at all setting but can see no reference to changing anything to use TLS, not I even know what TLS is...;)

I am able to access the location where Zuver store my online files, I am not sure though how I could edit them...would I simply be able to download them, edit and up loade them again?

I wonder if the message refers to the browser?

I would expect the inbuilt FTP client or the internet connection to have that setting.
You can download them from the site & edit them but unless you can upload them again via the site you’d receive the same error message. Usually if the feature is available it would be under the website’s cpanel.
