Im not sure if this is against the rules or something, bc i dont see any other threads on it, which surprises me.

But is there anyway to do this? My sister has an iTouch v4.3.3 and i wanna see if i can downgrade it to v2 bc i wanna use winamp to transfer files and it doesnt support the later versions. and from what i read there isnt anything that does w/o already having iTunes on the computer. and well, F*** iTunes!

Ive found plenty of sites about it but most of em dont seem all that trustworthy, and since i dont really have anything to do with iFads i dont know what the reliable sources are, and i trust my fellow geek soldiers.

We like winamp, been using it forever, and shes doesnt really use her touch for anything but music so she doesnt need it to be compatible with new apps.

We don't deal much on Major Geeks on the jailbreaking and iPhone/itouch front. If someone had any idea that has read your thread, they would have answered you.

I do know there is no legit way of doing it (in otherwords, Apple has tried to make sure you don't).

As you've noted, there are a many sites out there that deal specifically with this and many youtube videos. That or asking on the Apple forum are most likely going to be your best bet.

One site I did see (http://www.redmondpie.com/downgrade...-iphone-4-3gs-ipad-2-ipad-1-ipod-touch-guide/) stated this:

Also, this thread was responded to by one of the owners of our site: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=253981

He suggested searching on youtube to find out how.

I was looking Everywhere to downgrade, but here is no way. Unless you have a backup of the "SHSH blobs" for the iOS you want, there is No way. So if you don't, you will have to look elsewhere for what you want. You can use the app "DropBox" that might do what you need.....

:NOTE You can also jailbreak your device, and you might be able to do more with it. Here is the source I used....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBGksHapsxA&feature=channel_video_title
