Downgrading Win7 -> XP

Hey ive noticed you need to do things to get win7 to allow you to downgrade to xp ... could anybody tell me the main things i need to do ?

I tried to install xp but when i load it up it goes to install but when it says starting XP installation i get blue screen of death.

Could somebody tell me what i need to do give win7 to let me install xp ? PREF a step by step rolleyes :-o

 

Check for drivers first if they have them. Sorry, no step by step from me. If you really want XP then run it in VMWare if you have the ha4rdware.Nice to have 4 gigs RAM.

well the main reason i want xp is cuz of the realtek |HD audio control panel is more user friendly in that one .... on the windows 7 one u cant adjust the volume on mic / programs (i do alot of live streaming).

 

Try out MediaMonkey before changing your OS, sounds kind of a drastic solution to me. :confused

 

i had a look but sems more for music then audio ? ... btw when i go into C: there is no Window.old file ... what should i do now/

Damn man, why do you want to see windows.old files? You're stepping all over the place now! Keep to one subject please.

 

Get the driver for it. Windows 7 I'm sure just installed a very generic but WORKING driver for it. Sounds like you just need some software to make it more friendly for you.
