download free AVG problem

    I clicked on the free AVG for xp and followed the instructions, next thing I seen was 4 page problems closing. What do I do now?

    Which avg is best for my xp?

    Help please.

    Could I possibly suggest avast! as antivirus?

    I always found AVG to be bloated (a resource hog) and somewhat slightly more complicated. In my opinion AVG was good a few years ago but avast! took it's crown over time.

    But if you still wish to use AVG this is the version you're looking for:
