Download problems

:yumI have an Vista Computer which block all download and ask for a password which I don't have. Do I have to have someone to crack it or can do it myself.:confused

 

I'm not going to be much help, however I believe anyone who can help you would need more information.

Have you been able to download in the past?
When did this start happening?
Did you install new software recently? If so, what was it? Antivirus, firewall?

What browser are you using to try and download, and what file/site are you downloading from?

Are you sure the account you are downloading with has the proper user rights to download?

 

Let me clarify, I receiptly (4 month ago) reformat my hard-drive but this is my daughter computer, which school is starting and she need to download the apple itunes for her ipad. And I was the adminstrator and forgot the password and failed lost the disk to reset.
I know this is a serious problem but if I need to have someone to reinstall everything I will.
