download question

I started the new download of avg 8.5 the other day and had to leave before it was finished.

I cannot see that it loaded, my avg still shows 8.0 is there away to find out if it did load.

Well, don't run any risk:

Uninstall AVG from Add/remove programs.
Run AVG's special uninstaller: http://www.avg.com/download-tools
Search manually for remains and delete them.
Use CCleaner - also it's build-in registry cleaner: http://majorgeeks.com/download4191.html
Reinstall new AVG: http://majorgeeks.com/download886.html
