Downloaded but no icon

I am very new to this, very tired and need to go to bed so I can work tomorrow. I do not understand some of the vocabulary used in the support forums. This is the sort of thing that is frustrating. Over an hour ago I downloaded SpyBot S & D from you but when I left the net I can see no icon on my start screen nor can I see it listed in programs so I cannot run it. I need to know what to do. It took 11 minutes to download where is it?

 

I just left the net and went to disable the Windows Messenger service according to your instructions, couldn't do that either as the only messenger I could find said it was nothing to do with windows messenger.
What do I do now? Life is short and I do not wish to spend the rest of my 3 score and ten years getting nowhere on a computer.

Look for the Spybot program at
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe
(maybe is there)
or click Start > Run > Browse > [Paste last path or do a search].

Or go to Start > Settings > Taskmanager > Start Up Programs > Add
a new program
