I downloaded a file today compressed with WinRar. I open it up, and clicked on one of the files in there and I got a popup that said "this file is encrypted, enter password". I didn't have a password, so I just clicked "OK"... and then the popup said "extracting files" and a progress meter showed up. When that was finished, I looked for the files but found nothing. I searched for the files but there were no new files extracted. Does anybody know what happened here? Thanks for reading.

Did you look in My Documents
What did you open it with.
Are you running WinRar or Winzip or ?

The file is password protected. Clicking ok still goes through the motion of extracting, but there is no data in the folder afterwards.
