Well, I was downloading a file today, and I paused it within Firefox, and I forgot that I paused it. I came back later in the day with 2.5Gb out of 5Gb downloaded. I tried to resume it and it couldn't start the download up again. Is there a program out there that can resume partially downloaded files like this? I backed up the partials that were created. Any help would be amazing.

I think you can try something called Free Download Manager or something of the like. Free Download Manager is the one my brother used. I'm sure there are better freeware programs out there but that is the one that I remember.

Well there's a page of internet tools. You can pick a Download manager from there.

As for resuming the download that you have half downloaded right now, I don't know of a solution. Download managers work from the beginning.
