Downloading .NET Framework

I was required to download Microsoft .net framework to my machine for a software that i earlier downloaded.

Well i cannot download .NET Framework. It stopped downloading.

I tried from here:

Is there any additional requirement?

I am using 98SE, pentium 2, 350 MHZ and 64 MB RAM.

What program are you trying to run?

It may be advisable to get the .NET 2.0 Redistributable as well - since newer applications will use .NET 2.0.

You will need to have IE6 SP1 installed.

When you say it stopped downloading: is this because your connection failed? What speed connection are you using?
