Downloading Problem

    Lately, anytime that I download anything off the internet, my computer has a tendency to halt the download at some point. Sometimes I only get 1/4, sometimes 3/4 of the download but very rarely does it load the whole thing. This is an especially frequent occurrence when I try to watch anything such as YouTube. I have no idea what is causing this and have technical computer knowledge comparable to a piece of cardboard.
