downloading program on network

    hello, i have two computers networked @ home and both have access to each others harddrive, i recently acquired a norton antivirus program and would like to place it on my other networked computer. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    How did you acquire it? Is it a trial version you downloaded? If so, you can just transfer the setup file over to the other computer and run it. If its a CD, its even easier.

    Thing about this is, if the version you have is paid for, you will need to buy another for the other computer to be legit. (Unless you just want trials on both) If its pirated, same deal. We can't help you. You will need to buy two copies, and be sure you pay the subscription to maintain protection in the future.

    Check out AVG. Its free to install, and your updates are free. Its provides comparable (if not better) protection than Norton, and doesn't slow down your computer as much.
