Dr.Web Cure-IT; freeware? $hareware?

I saw on yesterdays front page (May 20 2009) that Dr.Web Cure-IT was updated. Cool. I like Cure-IT. Not the best virus remover in the world, but it's stand-alone and it runs in safe mode, and it has helped me out of a tough spot or two. Anyway, it was previously listed as "freeware" and the download filename was "launch.exe". This current release is listed as "shareware" even though the description says it's free, and the filename is now "cureit.exe". Soooo.... :confused wuzzupwiddat?

This whole Dr.Web Cure-IT thing is a bit strange. The 'original' Cure-IT was 100% free and the download was a stand-alone virus scanner/remover called launch.exe, and was available here at MG before the big server problems a few days ago. Now the version here at MG says "shareware" (the previous one said "freeware") and the download is named cureit.exe. To top it off, I used the link above posted by oma to download directly from the DrWeb page, and their download is called c9y62nw2.exe, but if I use the MG link to download directly from the author's site, the download is again named cureit. I guess none of this is a big deal, I just find it very strange.

(BTW- thanks for the link oma! I did some poking around and it appears that DrWeb has a free bootable live rescue CD you can download and use to fix messed up PCs; I'll be burning it shortly and will post if it's any good or whatever; it can be download from this link)
