Dreaded DELL CPU Upgrade

Hey,

Could someone please confirm that an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Processor - 2.66GHz, 8MB Cache, more details... 1066MHz FSB, Kentsfield, Quad-Core, OEM, Socket 775 ... is compatible w/ my DELL Dimension 9200/XPS 420? I have an Intel duo CPU 6300 - 1.86GHz.

I did a lot of homework that confirmed it is compatible then heard someone say in another forum that it wouldn't work and now I'm SPOOKED!
