Drempels screensaver and Linux?

This is hardly the question of the year, but I fell in love with the Drempels screen saver ages ago when I was on a Win 95 machine... now I am sporting Kubuntu Gutsty Gibbon and am wanting to see my old friend Drempels again instead of the Linux offerings.

Anyone know how to make Drempels work in Linux?

Drempels is now open source... not that it helps me any, since I haven't the first clue about that sort of thing.

If you know how, then please spell it out to me like I am a blithering idiot... because when it comes to Linux... well... I AM a blithering idiot. lol ((It feels so strange, I could make Windows tap dance and juggle flaming batons, but I can't manage "simple' things in Linux.))
I have read a bunch of Google search results and what I get is either not for my distro, very complicated and assumes more knowledge than I have, or they want to make it a desktop background instead of a screen saver.

Anyhow...

If you have Windows, check it out, it is lovely and so cool for being so simple. Not sure if it works on anything XP and newer though.

You can select a screensaver as a wallpaper IF you have compiz correctly compiled.
