Drive 0 not found

I have searched the forum before posting this and was not able to find the same problem. I apologize if I have included too much information.

On boot I receive the following error screen (pressing F1 causes normal boot but pc runs very slow)

Drive 0 not found: Serial ATA, SATA-0
