Drive cleaner

I have a problem since I downloaded and installed McAffee onto my computer. I now get a pop up constantly telling me to install Drive Cleaner. I have it blocked as to where it won't install, but is there anyway to keep from getting this constant pop up? My pop up blocker isn't doing anything. Can you tell me if this Drive Cleaner is actually legit too because most of what I have been seeing says not to install it.

If you are constantly getting a popup for you to download a product then I would suspect it as malware but does it popup on 1 website only or does it look like a windows error message?

Which Windows version and service pack you using?

I would also run through the steps I will post below and if you find anything suspicious in the scans then Please post a new thread in the Malware Forum, with the relevent logs completed as stated in the guide.

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
