    C drive 500gb, D drive 500gb, M drive 2tb.
The D drive was causing me problems. Something upped the ante into using 400gb of it.
No problems thus far, l just reformatted it using Windows 10, no questions asked, and am now down
to to a reasonable mb level for the D drive.
When l now go into file explorer, it says Local Disk (C) and Local Disk (D) (D).
Not a major threat, but what did l do wrong?
    Regards

I dont see anything wrong with what you did, what are you seeing that may be wrong? Need more clarification. BTW, you can do a slow double click on it "drive d" and just change the name to whatever you want. It sounds like you may have named the drive "(D)"
