drive space

hi all
I recently got a message that said my c drive was low. when i looked at it my 35gb c drive was full so i moved about 3gb worth of data over to the d drive. the next dcay it said it was full again. I have now found that windows is reporting that c: windows is currently 27gb which is obviously wrong and when i look into the windows folder all the folders and files look normal with nothing standing out. infact i calculate that it should only be about 4gb in size. someting is obviously loging something somewhere but i cant find it. I dont know if its a virus or a program can anyone help?

problem solved not malware but network problem in caching files to windows csc 23gb
This can be closed but if anyone has any instructions on how to get rid of the files it would be helpful.
